Role Overview
Lead distribution business development efforts across Russia and CIS region, driving new client acquisitions and managing the regional BD team. This strategic role requires deep industry networks and proven ability to build strong client relationships in the Russian music market.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet sales targets and drive business growth in Russia and CIS territories
- Build deals pipeline and actively sell distribution services
- Leverage network to generate new business opportunities
- Manage and lead Russia-based Business Development team
- Draft commercial proposals and negotiate contracts
- Maintain relationships with label executives and industry leaders
- Oversee inbound sales submissions and analyze regional sales reports
- Collaborate with Audio-Visual services for YouTube/VK revenue opportunities
- Manage CRM data entry, pipeline tracking, and internal reporting
- Work cross-functionally with Business Affairs, Finance, Marketing, Operations
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years music industry experience in Russia/CIS
- 5+ years in A&R, Business Development, or Campaign Management
- University degree in Business, Economics, Music/Entertainment (or equivalent)
- Strong industry network and relationship-building skills
- Proven track record in negotiating commercial terms
- Deep knowledge of music distribution and digital landscape
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen
- Excellent communication and project management abilities
- Fluent in Russian and English (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, Analytics platforms
- Highly organized in fast-paced, international environment
